hair crush: REBECCA HALL

hair crush: REBECCA HALL'S SHORT BOB
LOVING REBECCA HALL'S VERY-WEARABLE BOB...
{the bits we love: it's short, it's longer on one side with deep side part swoosh, it has plenty of highlights, and it's pretty much wash-and-wear!}

TO STYLE: Use a large dollop of mousse before rough drying the hair from the bottom up for added volume and lift. Wrap small to medium sections of the hair around a 1" curling iron, alternating the direction of the curls for full, natural texture—and don’t worry about getting every piece, this look isn’t meant to be perfect.

Once you’re finished, use your hands to loosen up your curls. Comb your deep side part and "tilt your head to one side before spraying with finishing spray for extra volume.

EXTRA TIP: Spray the hairspray onto your hand and then spread onto whichever side you’re trying to secure behind your ear to help it lay flat. After that, don’t even think about your hair.
The less you care, the better it looks.

IF YOU EVER NEEDED AN EXCUSE TO GET A BOB, THIS IS IT...
how gorgeous is Clemence Poesy's new chin-length bob!
Bobs may have once seemed a little too mumsy or even childlike. But the new take on the look, whether worn tousled like Clemence's - or straight, parted on the side or the middle, is totally chic.

super-quick STYLING TIPS

style your hair while you sleep!
IMAGINE IF YOU COULD DO YOUR HAIR BEFORE YOU WENT TO BED TO SAVE
YOU TIME IN THE MORNING...
Well, you can! With a little prep before you hit the pillow, you can actually make slept-on hair look good...
Start by shampooing before bed, and then try one of these tricks:

1. Waves: Apply a styling cream from roots to tips. Comb your hair into a tight bun at the nape of your neck, and secure it with an elastic. When you wake up, remove the elastic and run your fingers through
to separate the waves.

2. Beachy Texture: Work a product like styling lotion through your hair from roots to ends. Part your hair down the centre, and create two loose braids starting above your ears. In the morning, undo the braids, and spray in some texturiser. If your hair is still a bit damp, throw your head upside down and
dry it with a diffuser.

3. Silky Smooth: Towel dry your hair to remove excess moisture, then comb it through and apply a de-frizzing cream. The next morning, clip your hair up into sections and flat iron one at a time to remove any kinks or ridges. Finish with a shine spray.
